Strong Markets and Management Benefit NTCA Benefit Plans

This is a week that is devoted to NTCA benefit plans as I joined our GHP as well as our R&S/Savings Plan Trustees for a series of meetings as we wrap up the year with a review of the progress these plans have made to continue to offer top quality, flexible benefit plans to NTCA members and their employees.  As the industry continues to deal with challenges on the USF funding front and what that means for network deployments, our trustees (you have to love a benefit plan that is for the members and run by the members) continue to work through ways to help rural broadband providers control costs and have options as they approach the new year with new operational budgets.

Between the new Silver PPO plan being rolled out, a soft freeze available in our defined benefit plan in 2019 and a never ending effort to access the benefits that allow rural broadband providers to recruit top-notched staff in rural and often remote areas is key to employers success.
